See the largest data center in Manhattan!

Join fellow Hoos for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of SDC Manhattan, one of New York City's premier data centers, followed by a networking reception on the 31st floor at Rafael Viñoly Architects, where we will be joined by firm partner Román Viñoly.

This event is co-hosted by UVA Alumni in Real Estate, Hoos Designing New York, and the White Ruffin Byron Center for Real Estate, bringing together Hoos across architecture, design, development, and technology for an evening of unique access and meaningful connection.

The UVA Alumni in Real Estate NYC chapter connects through official networks, events, and mentorship programs hosted across the University of Virginia. To learn more, contact John Braley (ARCH '92) at johnbraley@gmail.com or Kelly Kraus (CLAS '20) at kelly@septembersearch.com.

Hoos Designing New York is a Virginia Club community of interest for UVA alumni working across the built environment, including architecture, design, development, planning, and construction. Using New York City as a living laboratory, we host curated site visits and walking tours that celebrate the professional impact of Hoos and foster cross-disciplinary connection. To learn more, contact Loretta Dredger (CLAS '25) at uvanyc@uvanyc.org.

The White Ruffin Byron Center for Real Estate is a pan-University organization working in service of students, faculty, alumni, and industry partners across Grounds. The mission of the Center is to enhance the quality of the built environment and our understanding of its influence on all aspects of our lives through discovery and debate relating to the art and science of real estate. To learn more, contact Zander Geronimos (McIntire '14) at zgeronimos@proda.ai.

All attendees will need to provide ID when they get to the building. This event is open to all alumni, parents, and friends!
