The McIntire School's Center for Investors and Financial Markets (CIFM), UVA's White Ruffin Byron Center for Real Estate, and Darden's Mayo Center for Asset Management collaborate to host this faculty seminar series bringing top scholars to Grounds to share their research in finance, economics, and real estate. The centers alternate hosting the visits and seminars, increasing collaboration and networking between faculty across Grounds.

On Friday, Oct. 16, CIFM and the Center for Real Estate will host Christophe Spaenjers, Professor of Finance, Michael A. Klump Endowed Chair of Real Estate, and Faculty Director of the Michael A. Klump Center for Real Estate at the Leeds School of Business, CU Boulder. His research interests include real estate, private equity, art markets, household finance, and financial history and has been published in the American Economic Review, Journal of Finance, Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Financial Economics, and Management Science, among others.
