The McIntire School's Center for Investors and Financial Markets (CIFM), UVA's White Ruffin Byron Center for Real Estate, and Darden's Mayo Center for Asset Management collaborate to host this faculty seminar series bringing top scholars to Grounds to share their research in finance, economics, and real estate. The centers alternate hosting the visits and seminars, increasing collaboration and networking between faculty across Grounds.

On Friday, Oct. 2, CIFM and the UVA Center for Real Estate will host Ben Keys, the Rowan Family Foundation Professor of Real Estate and Finance at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and a Research Associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research. Keys's recent research has focused on climate risk, housing, and mortgage markets; foreign investment in the U.S. housing market; and the geography of household financial distress.
