The McIntire School is hosting a networking meeting and reception to bring together faculty from around UVA to discuss research collaborations in the field of AI. This gathering coincides with the launch of 3Cavs 3.0, the latest iteration of the 3 Cavaliers Seed Funding Program. In short, 3Cavs 3.0 provides seed funding of $80,000 or $15,000 to support bold, high-risk, interdisciplinary research projects between three UVA faculty members from at least two different units. 3Cavs Program Details

We’re also excited to amplify the 2024 Fellowship in AI Research (FAIR) Program, now organized by the LaCross AI Institute. The FAIR Program serves as the Institute’s primary vehicle to support and advance collaborative AI research with beneficial practical outcomes. This fellowship provides initial funding for work conducted at UVA and led by UVA-affiliated faculty, involving scholars, practitioners, and students from multiple disciplines.
